6. Summary

In this report there is listed a few initiatives that can improve the reproducibility of tests of wood stoves. The initiatives can be selected and implemented individually, or the full set can be implanted which is recommended but the author. If implemented as a set, roughly 30% improvement of repeatability can be anticipated.
These improvements will improve the test, without placing undue burden on the manufacturers. Time and cost wise these improvements are rendered neutral. Implementation will benefit testing costs overall by making redundant several days of repeated tests to reach the optimum test result. As a side effect these initiatives can also increase the yield of market surveillance measurements, which in turn can streamline market surveillance measurements and reduce the costs associated.
