Nordic Day is celebrated on 23 March. On this day we celebrate the world’s oldest regional political collaboration – Nordic co-operation between Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, Sweden, the Faroe Islands, Greenland, and Åland. This co-operation became official with the Helsinki Treaty, commonly known as the Nordic Constitution. The treaty was signed on 23 March 1962 and took effect on 1 July of that year.
To support Nordic embassies and diplomatic missions with Nordic Day celebrations, we have created graphics and posters you can download, plus an animation you can share.
