Karen Ellemann, Secretary General of the Nordic Council of Ministers, and Hideki Uyama, Ambassador of Japan to Denmark, talks about why the EXPO was held in Japan, the aim of the EXPO 2025, the long-term benefits for all the participating businesses, how the Nordic Pavilion has been perceived by the Japanese, Nordic-Japanese business opportunities and more.
I think that the main purposes of the EXPO are to contribute to the achieving of SDGS, Sustainable development Goals, and to co-create solutions to common challenges facing humankind by which I'll say by sharing new ideas and innovative technologies. I would like to stress that Japan and the Nordic countries are trusted partners sharing fundamental values, democracy, freedom, human rights and the rule of law.
