The Nordic Chemicals Programme 2025–2027 is overseen by the Nordic Council of Ministers for Environment and Climate (MR-MK) and the Nordic Co-operation Programme for the Environment and Climate 2025–2030. The Finnish Safety and Chemicals Agency acts as an administrative body and oversees daily operations of the programme.
Organizational structure of the Nordic Chemicals Programme:
Programme steering committee: The steering committee is responsible for strategic guidance and decision-making.
Programme coordinator: The programme coordinator is responsible for the programme’s daily operations.
Network of expert groups: Where relevant and necessary, expert groups will be established to support the aims of the chemicals programme and its themes. The groups will have an operational role in the implementing the programme’s activities.
